These pads are most commonly used to prevent irritation from the boot that causes shin burn or shin bang. However, these pads can also be cut in order to be used for other areas of the foot to prevent irritation as well.

Because these can be cut to fit, you can customize them with scissors to help protect your ankle, heel, etc. For example, if you need something more similar to a "J-Bar" you can cut these accordingly.

SHIN PAD DIMENSIONS
Each pad is 1/4" thick and has dimensions of 6 x 3 inches. Some users have been known to stack pads on top of each other for increased thickness.

While often used as ski boot pads for snowboarding & skiing boot fitting, they also can work as inserts for work boots, shoes, ice skating, hockey skates, roller blades, and even shoes!

ADHESIVE BACKING REMOVAL
Each pad comes with self-adhesive backing (using this is optional). To remove the backing, pull down on black foam first, and then pull up on the adhesive backing after it begins to separate.
